Felix Keller has been scientifically engaged in glaciological research in the field of permafrost, glaciers and lake ice since 1985. He soon became interested in teaching and in 2005 was awarded a teaching position for environmental didactics at the Swiss Technical Institute in Zurich. In 2015 he is working on his vision of glacier rescue with meltwater recycling, which could ensure the existential water supply for large parts of the population in dry mountain regions such as the Himalayas and the Andes.
