PDG2710 2002-2003, board member of Yoneyama Memorial Foundation. He lives in Hiroshima, Japan, has been passionate about global peace since his nuclear tragedy. Chaired Rotary Global Peace Forum in Hiroshima in 2013. He serves “Green Legacy Hiroshima”, spreading Hiroshima’s atomic-bomb survivor trees worldwide. He was awarded with the Medal of Honor, Blue Ribbon in 1995. The nation also awarded him with the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette in 2003 for his outstanding work to the society
