Peter Meisen is an honorary member of the Rancho Bernardo Sunrise Rotary.  He graduated UC San Diego, completing his B.S. in Applied Mechanics and Engineering Sciences

Drawing inspiration from visionary engineer Buckminster Fuller, Peter founded the Global Energy Network Institute (GENI.org) in 1991.  GENI’s mission is to foster the interconnection of high-voltage electric grids to renewable energy resources on every continent.

In 2011, Peter expanded his sustainability work by launching the World Resources Simulation Center (WRSC.org) to visualize sustainable solutions.  Peter asserts the need for an accelerator so society can make more informed choices quicker.  SIMCenters offer surround visualization enabling users to better understand past trends, future options, compare costs and benefits.
